How Sad It Is to...

How sad it is to let others choose…how sad to forfeit oneself. It is easier to belong than to exist apart, to hide from your truth and feel protected from your being...from the scrutiny of your own mind, the conviction of your own spirit, the responsibility of your own voice...the loneliness of your own identity. The sense of false security leads to a path of danger greater than knowing your truth…you find acceptance among lies and fear. This is not your calling.
